Since the introduction of the visa regime, only 10 Russians have received Ukrainian visas. Hromadske writes about this with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko on July 1, on the day the visa regime was introduced, said that visas could be obtained by submitting applications to the VFS Global visa centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on- Don and Samara. At the same time, Ukrainian diplomatic institutions in third countries will be directly involved in issuing visas.
However, the VFS Global website indicates that the company suspended its activities in Russia on March 16th. It follows from this that the only option for Russians wishing to obtain a Ukrainian visa is to apply to foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine.
