On Muz-TV, the words “peace” and “war” were drowned out in the song of the group “Guests from the Future”

On the channel "Muz-TV" in the program "Battle of Generations", the words "peace" and "war" were drowned out in the song of the group "Guests from the Future". It was covered by singer Zivert. The line "We vote for peace, but war is back in fashion" was censored.

The host of the program, Konstantin Anisimov, could not answer the question of the publication "Rise" about why these words were muffled, and redirected it to the press service of "Muz-TV". The Insider sent a request to the TV channel, as well as to the manager of Zivert, but at the time of writing the news, no response had been received.

Despite the fact that the word “war” is silenced on federal channels, the deputies of the State Duma, apparently, can use it. Thus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs recognized the complaint of the deputy of the Smolninskoye Municipality of St. Petersburg, Nikita Yuferev, against the head of the Just Russia – For Truth party, Sergei Mironov, for using the word "war" in relation to the war in Ukraine, "incorrect."
