The organizers of the World Cup in Qatar have banned Jewish organizations from selling or offering kosher food to visitors. In addition, there are no prayer places for Jews at the 2022 World Cup, reports The Jerusalem Post.

The publication, citing sources in Jewish organizations, writes that initially the host promised to provide the territory of the World Cup with places for Jews to pray. Another source of the publication said that several wealthy American Jews were going to come to the 2022 World Cup – as a result, they canceled their visit, saying that they would not feel safe at the event.

Earlier it became known that at the 2022 World Cup it was forbidden to sell beer at the stadiums where the matches will be held. At the same time, the organizers of the tournament from FIFA have an agreement with the beer manufacturer Budweiser for $ 75 million. The company said that it was "stunned by the change in existing agreements."
