Control over “foreign agents” is shifted from the Ministry of Justice to the prosecutor’s office: the corresponding amendment, introduced by deputies Vasily Piskarev and Andrey Alshevsky, recommended for adoption at today’s meeting.

In fact, this means that the persecution of “foreign agents” will be intensified, since the prosecutor’s office has a larger number of employees and a habit of “stick” reporting.

Also, according to the amendments recommended for adoption, “foreign agents” will be banned from being employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and military personnel, which in fact means for them a reservation from mobilization.
