Putin signed a law on increasing the tax burden on the gas and oil industries in 2023-2025, which will give the budget a total of about 3 trillion rubles.
In particular, it provides for an increase of up to 34% income tax for exporters of liquefied natural gas and an increase in revenues from the mineral extraction tax from oil and coal mining companies. Separately, 1.8 trillion rubles are withdrawn from Gazprom, 50 billion rubles a month.
