Senator Andrei Klishas and deputy Pavel Krasheninnikov submitted to the State Duma bill, according to which the norms of inheritance law that were in force in the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions before the annexation remain in force if the opening of the inheritance took place during the period of Ukrainian legislation.
This, however, also means that Ukrainian debts will also be inherited by the “new Russians”, which will now have to be paid back in Russia.
