The Ministry of Labor has prepared a new model of voluntary social insurance, including for the self-employed, it can be launched from July 1.
The citizen will decide for himself what amount of payments in case of illness he would like to receive (2 or 3 minimum wages), and based on this, pay insurance premiums (1247 or 1871 rubles per month).
In addition, it is possible to draw up “insurance holidays” (it will be possible to skip 1 monthly payment every 6 months of continuous payment of contributions).
