Zelensky: During the full-scale war, Russia fired more than 4,700 missiles at Ukraine

Over the entire period of the full-scale war, Russia fired more than 4,700 missiles at Ukraine. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message to the participants of the international organization of La Francophonie:

“Today is the 270th day of a full-scale war. More than 4,700 missiles were used by Russia. Hundreds of our cities are simply burned. Thousands of people died. Hundreds of thousands have been forcibly deported to Russia. Millions left Ukraine for other countries to escape the war. We must stop this. We must stop Russian aggression."

Zelensky also mentioned the Russian attacks that took place on Tuesday, November 15. As a result, the energy infrastructure of Ukraine was seriously damaged:

“For Ukraine, this Tuesday is about a hundred missile strikes. One hundred different missiles against our cities. against residential buildings. against businesses. against power plants. Do you know what a missile attack is? That's over 20 million people without electricity. Such was the harm to the power system, such was the urgent emergency shutdown. The reactors at two of our nuclear power plants were also shut down due to a missile attack on the energy sector.”

Due to Russia's massive missile strikes, almost half of Ukraine's energy system has been disabled, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said earlier. During the already mentioned shelling on November 15, Russia fired more than 90 missiles at Kyiv and a dozen other Ukrainian cities. Most were shot down by air defenses, but some missiles hit residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
