The government approved new rules for posting materials by "foreign agents". The new order will come into force on December 1 and will be valid for the next 6 years. The Decree is published on the legal information portal and comes into force on December 1, 2022.
Now "foreign agents" must place at the beginning of messages large dice on a contrasting background with text that begins with the words "Real material / information." Name or surname must be provided. Text instructions in the video must be centered and occupy at least 20% of the image area.
In the audio message, it will not be possible to make the sound quieter or speed up the message about the “foreign agent”. The message should go at the beginning of the video and after each interruption. The duration of the demonstration of a text instruction in the video must be at least 15 seconds.
Previously, “foreign agents”, both the media and individuals, were required to put a standard die in the materials:
