In the Samara region, airsoft players are preparing mobilized to be sent to the front

In the Samara region, the mobilized are preparing to be sent to the front with the help of instructors from the local airsoft federation. The head of the organization, Anton Ptichkin , told Mediazone that training has been taking place since October, and in total, more than 600 servicemen have already taken the master class.

“We use regular armament of units with blank cartridges, as well as imitation weapons that allow us to organize counteraction to the enemy and defeat him,” Ptichkin said. According to him, training of several hundred more people is planned in the near future.

The instructors of the center are military men who went through the war in Ukraine. According to Ptichkin, these trainings are held at the initiative of the airsoft federation: “We just considered it our duty not to stand aside and not only speed up, but rather increase the amount of skills and knowledge given to our guys.”

Combat training takes place at the training grounds of the 2nd Combined Arms Guards Army and on the basis of the Airsoft Federation itself. According to Ptichkin, all this is happening with the approval of the Samara governor Dmitry Azarov.

After the start of mobilization activities in Russia, the media regularly reports on the poor preparation of the military before being sent to the front.
