The US Treasury gave a number of clarifications about Russian oil:
▪️ The price ceiling for oil from the Russian Federation will not be applied in case of its significant processing outside the country
▪️ The US allowed transactions related to the unloading of Russian oil only in emergency situations (risk to the life of the crew, environmental protection)
▪️ The introduction of a price ceiling for Russian oil does not cancel the already imposed ban on its import into the United States
▪️ The United States until September 30, 2023 allowed all transactions related to the sea transportation of crude oil to Japan from the Sakhalin-2 project
▪️ The US allows financial transactions related to the supply of Russian crude oil to Bulgaria, Croatia and a number of landlocked EU countries
