The leader of the “Council of Mothers and Wives” accused the “law enforcement agencies” of spying
According to the leader of the “Council of Mothers and Wives” Olga Tsukanova, from the very morning of November 23, a car with several people watching the members of the council was standing near the house where they spent the night. “We noticed a few people who were following us. You turned the corner – and he turned the corner, you went behind the house – and he looks around, he lost you. Then he saw, calmed down, stepped aside and pretended to be [sitting] on the phone. They practically do not hide, ”Tsukanova said in her video.
The leader of the “Council of Mothers and Wives” believes that the activists are being watched by representatives of “law enforcement agencies” who are “trying to intimidate” and “break the round table” that the council is holding today with the participation of their supporters from different regions of the country.
The members of the council discussed surveillance at a round table organized by them. “We approached one of the girls who was chasing us. We asked what questions she wants to ask us. She immediately started screaming and calling the police. Mostly young people are used for surveillance, ”said one of the members of the council. In the subway, they also met their pursuers. The mothers, according to them, followed these “young people” around the cars, asking them questions, but they also did not get any answers.
“We are ordinary women who just want to get answers to our questions,” Tsukanova said, calling the security forces “a bargaining chip” who “there will be no one to protect.” She considers the persecution a response to “attempts to ask questions of the authorities.”
