The United States has achieved a “more moderate” position on Russia in NATO, despite calls from Britain, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia to intensify rivalry, Euractiv reports, citing a source in the alliance.
Such a restrained approach is advocated by the “traditional” members of the alliance – France, Turkey, Italy and Greece, the newspaper writes.
