✊ 🪖 80 mothers and wives mobilized from the Kuban are sent to Moscow and will seek a meeting with Putin. They intend to hold a rally on Red Square

The protesters enter the Krasnodar branch of the "Council of Mothers and Wives" and are planning a rally on Sunday, timed to coincide with World Mother's Day, two women told We Can Explain. One of them told that her husband, called at the end of September, stopped communicating, and since October 9 she has not known anything about his fate. At the recruiting office, she was told that Husband reportedly disappeared, but no documentary evidence of this was given.

Women intend to look for the truth in the Kremlin because they do not expect help from the authorities of the region and do not believe them, the activist says. According to her, the same delegations are expected from other Russian cities. “There are a lot of questions for Putin. The Council forms their general list. Everyone wants to receive truthful information about the whereabouts of their relatives and to achieve the return of those who, according to the law, are not subject to mobilization, but fell under it. Many are promoting the issue of payments, but I would not classify it as the main one, ”said the interlocutor of the Ministry of Defense.

However, she doubts that Putin will accept them - rather, announced by Dmitry Peskov the meeting will be held with "agreed" mothers and wives. The leader of the "Council of Mothers and Wives" Olga Tsukanova has already stated that her comrades-in-arms are not invited to Putin, and surveillance has begun on the activists.

According to Layout, the Kremlin wants to stop the protest of relatives of military personnel and create a controlled "mothers movement". Whom the president will meet on Mother's Day is still unknown.
