In Novosibirsk, mobilized and other citizens participating in the war with Ukraine stopped issuing mortgages, informs “Taiga.info”

The local Legislative Assembly prepared an appeal to the Government. The deputies at the session on November 24 unanimously supported the document, and Ilya Polyakov, deputy chairman of the construction committee of the Novosibirsk Legislative Assembly, said that “banks do not want to take risks”: “There is no direct ban [on issuing mortgages], but risk-takers [in banks] refuse people who somehow participate in the “special operation”.

“The deputies receive appeals about the impossibility of concluding an agreement on the pledge of real estate (mortgage agreement) by persons called up for military service for mobilization in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as by persons participating in a special military operation. Credit organizations refuse to conclude such an agreement with the above persons for various reasons, ”the journalists cite the appeal.
