The statement by propagandist Vladimir Solovyov that journalist Dmitry Kolezev pretends to be a Russian citizen, works for foreign intelligence agencies and is a traitor to the motherland should be considered an expression of opinion within the framework of freedom of speech, declared representative of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company in objections to Kolezev’s lawsuit about Solovyov’s slander against him.
The representative of the holding also referred to the position of the ECtHR, from whose jurisdiction Russia withdrew.
Another way to protect the representative of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company chose the reference to the fact that Kolezev was declared a “foreign agent”, supports Ukraine and, as a result, has lost “close political and legal ties” with Russia.
