Tomorrow, designer Elnara Askerova will be tried in Makhachkala: she was accused of promoting LGBT people because of a fashion show. It featured male models performing in stage make-up and Japanese-inspired costumes.
The show was filmed and distributed on the Internet by a local resident Rasul Musanabiev. According to Askerova, he did it on purpose to get the property where the fashion show was held.
Askerova claims that she has nothing to do with LGBT people.
The designer told Sota about the conflict with the Caucasian zealots of “traditional values”.
