Ukraine and Russia exchanged prisoners according to the formula 50 to 50

The Russian Defense Ministry and the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak announced the exchange of prisoners according to the 50-50 formula.

Among the military who returned to Ukraine are two officers and 48 privates and sergeants, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak said . He added that 19 defenders of Mariupol, 15 prisoners from the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and seven from the Serpent Island returned to Ukraine.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 50 military personnel were being returned to Russia, "who were in mortal danger in captivity." They will be delivered by military transport aircraft to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation. Other details are not reported.

On November 23, the "head of the DPR" Denis Pushilin said that Russia and Ukraine had exchanged prisoners according to the formula 35 for 35. However, the Ukrainian side did not report anything about the exchange.
