November 24 in Russian rental movie released “Sisters” is a painful, but we all need drama about domestic violence. The premiere is timed to coincide with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which is celebrated on November 25.
The film, which rarely happens in modern Russian cinema, turned out to be good, and the mystical theme in it looks more like a marketing ploy to attract the viewer to a conversation about domestic violence – a problem much more terrible than any otherworldly horrors.
