The Ministry of Justice has included the T-Action Trans-Initiative Group, which supports the transgender community, as well as journalist Lyubov Barbashova, who collaborates with Radio Liberty, on the register of foreign media agents.
Also on the list of foreign agents were Alexandra Garmazhapova, Fedor Telin and political scientist Vitaly Kovin. At the same time, Vitaliy Kovin was registered for the second time. In October, the Ministry of Justice excluded Kovin from the register of media-foreign agents, but now he is included in the register of individuals-foreign agents.
Earlier today (November 25), the Ministry of Justice already recognized the City Without Barriers organization as a foreign agent.
The registers of “foreign agents” have been regularly replenished since April 23, 2021, when the corresponding status was assigned to the Meduza and First Anti-Corruption Media publications.
