Putin promised to “clear the clearing” in the field of culture

Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with the mothers of the military, promised to "clear the clearing" in the field of culture, in particular, from film festivals, which show films that are popular with Western audiences. He made such a statement after the words of director Olesya Shigina, who complained that "patriotic" films cannot receive a rental certificate, and the Artdocfest and Kinotavr film festivals "torment" Russians with their "dislike" for Russia.

In response, Putin said that in previous years, Russia lived "in a foreign clearing", and current events are the path to purification. According to Putin, they wanted to control Russia from outside, which led to the current situation, including the war with Ukraine.

According to Putin, people in the West have a "different cultural code", "not our culture at all." The president also mentioned "dozens of genders", "parents #1 and #2" and "transformers". His answer ended with the words "we will clear the clearing."

As part of the same meeting, Putin told the mothers of the Russian military that they were dying “not in vain” ( video fragment):

“We are all mortals, we are all under the Lord, and someday we will all leave this world. It's unavoidable. The question is how we lived. Some after all live or not live, it is not clear. And how they leave – from vodka or from something else, it is not clear. And then they left, lived or did not live – and imperceptibly, slipped through somehow, whether a person lived, or not. But your son lived. And his goal has been achieved. This means that he did not leave life in vain. ”
