Konstantin Deblikov is a Voronezh journalist and blogger who lost both hands at the age of 23 after an accident. Konstantin has been wearing prosthetic arms since 2015 and blogs about his experience in the form of humorous posts. It also helps people who have lost limbs to raise money for prostheses and receive them at the expense of the state.
We spoke with Deblikov about what motivates him to keep posting even after the outbreak of hostilities, what problems the prosthetics industry in Russia has faced and what lies ahead for it.
