Political prisoner and deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan Dmitry Chuvilin reported pressure from the security forces

In one of the letters to his friends (available to the editors), Chuvilin said that he received threats from the FSB lieutenant colonel during the transfer: “He was very dissatisfied with my incriminating speech in court on the extension of the arrest, promised problems in content, said that it was he who would create them me and other people involved here.”

Dmitry Chuvilin is accused of participating in a terrorist community (Marxist circle) under Part 2 of Art. 205.4 of the Criminal Code, he was detained at the end of March after a series of searches in the capital of Bashkortostan.

According to the investigation, the members of the circle were preparing for an armed seizure of power, and as evidence they cite a video recording of one of the party congresses, at which the activist calls for the overthrow of capitalism.
