The popular actor from “The Squid Game” was accused of sexual harassment. According to the victim, the harassment took place several years ago.
Not so long ago, 78-year-old Oh Yeon-soo became famous thanks to “The Squid Game” and even received a Golden Globe Award for his supporting role. Now, the prosecutor’s office in the Korean city of Suwon has charged him under an article on harassment. However, the elderly actor has not yet been detained.
According to Yonhap’s agency, the investigation was launched due to a claim by a woman who claims Oh Yeon-soo touched her inappropriately in 2017. She turned to the police last winter, but in April the law enforcement officers closed the case, and now, at the request of the victim, the prosecutor’s office began to investigate this story.
The actor has yet to comment on the situation publicly. But during communication with law enforcement officers, as the media write, he denied all charges.
