Composer Sofia Gubaidulina was nominated for a Grammy.
The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States presented a list of participants in the prestigious award. The work “The Wrath of God” performed by the Gewandhaus Orchestra under the direction of Andris Nelsons is among the contenders for the award in the nomination “Best Contemporary Classical Composition”. The ceremony will take place on February 5 next year in Los Angeles.
