One of the last interviews was given by Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei to RIA Novosti during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly session in September.
Then the minister lamented that the level of confrontation today has reached an unprecedented height – if this continues, it could lead to a planetary war.
Makei stressed that Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians lived in peace and harmony and have much in common – the sooner Kyiv realizes this, the better.
