Employees of the Belgorod Ministry of Internal Affairs were instructed to equip themselves with machine guns, bulletproof vests and emergency bags as soon as possible.
According to “Base”, the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Belgorod Region demanded that all employees independently staff themselves and gave them a list of necessary things. So, the police must at their own expense purchase balaclavas, berets and winter pea coats with wadded pants. The list also includes Kalashnikov assault rifles with bulletproof vests, but they were nevertheless promised to be issued.
The Interior Ministry’s shopping list also includes “wake bags”, sleeping bags, a shovel and a tactical first aid kit – for example, it includes tourniquets, bandages, burn agents and patches for penetrating chest injuries. In addition, the police must purchase a supply of food for two days.
At the same time, the authorities did not begin to explain to the personnel why they were staffed, but noted that this should be done “as soon as possible.”
