VKontakte, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, blocked the page of the Council of Mothers and Wives. This was reported in their Telegram channel.
"Council of mothers and wives" – a public association of relatives of the mobilized. They repeatedly appealed to Vladimir Putin with a request to improve the training of the military before being sent to Ukraine. On November 14, the "Council of Mothers and Wives" came to the headquarters of the Western Military District in St. Petersburg to demand that the Russian authorities withdraw conscripts from the Belgorod region and begin negotiations with Ukraine. They also insist that Russia must stop using nuclear weapons.
On November 25, Vladimir Putin met with the mothers of servicemen who took part in the war in Ukraine. Neither the "Council of Mothers and Wives" nor the "Committee of Soldiers' Mothers" were invited to attend. Instead, the meeting was attended by members of United Russia and the All-Russian Popular Front. Representatives of the "Council" and "Committee" at the same time stated that they had discovered that they were being followed.
