Russian Ambassador to Canada Stepanov said that he was summoned to the Foreign Ministry to express concern about the law banning LGBT propaganda and disagree with the way the diplomatic mission commented on it in their media resources. Stepanov called the criticism an interference in the internal affairs of Russia and an attempt to influence the independent legislative process.
