Clients of Russian banks faced massive refusals to provide “credit holidays” for mobilization

Clients of Sberbank, VTB, Tinkoff-Bank, Alfa-Bank and other banks faced failures, writes “Kommersant”. One of the victims, who was trying to get a deferral of payments on the loan of a mobilized father, says that the bank ignored requests in the chat, and employees hung up on the phone.

For some, the refusal comes in the first hours after the application is submitted. At the same time, the banks say that “holidays” are issued to everyone who fits the program, but sometimes “technical errors” occur. In total, several thousand Russians have used the service so far.
