The Government of the Russian Federation decided to introduce mandatory sending of electronic copies of government notifications to citizens. This is due to the lack of paper, ink and printers themselves due to sanctions:
“These changes are necessary to reduce the effect of the sanctions on suppliers of materials for printing devices of the federal postal organization and the termination of their supply.”
The same bill involves the introduction of domestic security certificates on Runet sites, which will automatically entail the need to install browsers working with them on the computers of Russians, in particular, from Yandex.
