The son of the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Uss, Artem, was released under house arrest in Italy, Ansa news agency reports.
Uss Jr. will have to wear an electronic bracelet while the court considers his extradition to the United States, where the man is accused of evading sanctions and money laundering.
At the end of October, Artem Uss was also put on the federal wanted list in Russia and arrested in absentia on suspicion of money laundering.
