Maria Kolesnikova was in intensive care. Before that, she was kept in the ShIZO

Opposition politician Maria Kolesnikova, sentenced in Belarus to 11 years in prison, was taken to intensive care, Viktar Babaryka's Telegram channel reported . According to Babariko, Maria is in the emergency hospital in Gomel in the intensive care unit, this was confirmed in the hospital to lawyer Kolesnikova.

It is reported that on November 28, she was transported to the first surgical department and transferred to intensive care. Apparently, the lawyer found out about this only on November 29, before that he was not allowed to see Kolesnikova in the colony, explaining that there was no corresponding statement from her.

On November 22, it became known that Kolesnikova had been placed in a punishment cell. Then the lawyer was also not allowed to see the prisoner, again motivated by the lack of a statement. According to Babariko, three penalties were imposed on Maria. On November 9 and 10, she was allegedly in the wrong place during working hours. On November 11, she received a reprimand for allegedly impolite treatment on her part of the staff of the colony.

Kolesnikova was sentenced to 11 years in prison by a Belarusian court on charges of creating an extremist group, publicly calling for harm to national security, and plotting to seize power in an unconstitutional way. She is serving her sentence in the Gomel IK-4.
