Viktor Ryaikkenen, a 55-year-old resident of Petrozavodsk, is suing the military registration and enlistment office on the fact of illegal mobilization. In order to get a trial, he had to file a lawsuit for the inaction of the management team.

Räikkenen received the summons at the end of September at the very beginning of mobilization and came to the military registration and enlistment office to clarify the data, and the very next day he was sent to a military unit in the Leningrad Region. He told Sota that he had filed a statement about the inaction of the leadership, since the report on dismissal from the service was “not considered” as a whole.

The unit commander, against whom the man filed a lawsuit, did not appear at the hearing: his location is “unknown.” At the moment, Räikinen is hospitalized for health reasons and is not in the military unit.

The preliminary hearing in Räikenen’s case will be held behind closed doors and is scheduled for December 7 at 9:00 am.
