The defendants in the high-profile case of the kidnapping of a girl who refused to marry in Tambov turned out to be relatives of the infamous local businessman Jamal Shamoyan, a source told RIA Novosti.
On November 18, a young man, with the help of his father and older brother, kidnapped (on video) a girl in Tambov who refused to marry him, and took him to the Nizhny Novgorod region. The girl managed to escape and contact the police.
As our source said, back in 2020, Shamoyan was sentenced to 6 years for embezzling more than 110 million rubles for road repairs – but he never suffered a punishment, his whereabouts are still unknown, he is still listed in the wanted list of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noteworthy that in the column “contact information” it is indicated “on duty of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Tambov Region.” Whether the businessman himself is a defendant in any new criminal case under the jurisdiction of the service is not reported.
