The Polish authorities refused to accredit a RIA Novosti correspondent to a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE countries.
Immediately after the start of the accreditation procedure, he submitted an official application for the event and received a response that the accreditation was approved. However, a letter later arrived stating that “the application for media accreditation was rejected during the verification.”
