Answering formal questions before interrogation, the witness said that he did not feel any personal hostility towards Yashin. Kucherov also participated in the search of Yashin’s apartment. Witness Kucherov claims that it was his report that initiated the criminal prosecution of Yashin.
Prosecutor: Did Yashin refer to the RF Ministry of Defense in his video?
Witness Kucherov: Yes, but he interpreted these words in his own way.
Prosecutor: How did you come to such conclusions?
Witness: Well, somehow … Like this.
Prosecutor: How did you conclude that Yashin’s information is false?
Witness: I compared it with the official position of the Ministry of Defense.
