The Spanish La Liga has sent a complaint to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) demanding that sports sanctions be applied to the Italian Juventus.

Juventus are accused of inflating the transfer fee of players, understating staff costs, hiding the true payroll of the players and hiding about 200 million euros in losses over a three-year period.

Earlier today, the Turin team announced the resignation of the board of directors of the club. Club president Agnelli, vice-president Nedved and chief executive Arrivabene left their positions. Unresolved legal, technical and accounting issues were cited as reasons.
