The younger brother of People’s Artist of Russia Alexei Batalov, priest Mikhail Ardov, filed a lawsuit over the inheritance of his deceased wife.
The Orthodox writer and uncle of the Honored Artist of Russia Anna Ardova this year lost his wife, with whom they lived for more than 50 years. There are no children left, and Ardov himself is now kept in a nursing home – he has dementia – and says that he wants to return home, because he lacks communication with his relatives. According to relatives, he needs specialized treatment. Nevertheless, Mikhail, in his lawsuit, demanded to oblige the notary to issue him a certificate of the right to the inheritance of his deceased wife.
