Facebook for a day “for cruelty” blocked journalist and human rights activist Alexandra Garmazhapova, who responded to statement Pope Francis that the greatest cruelty among Russians in the war with Ukraine was shown by Chechens and Buryats.

Recall that Garmazhapova, herself an ethnic Buryat, in response turned to Francis:

“The Pope or who are you, and what, Putin – a Buryat or a Chechen?
And how did you deal with pedophiles in your little world? How about we discuss the particular propensity for pedophilia of all Italians?”
