Maxim Gorin from the Moscow Department of Transport will become the head of the automotive industry department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Vedomosti writes, citing sources.
Gorin’s strategic task – after the departure of global automakers from Russia – will be the restart of car factories with the help of “deep localization” and the development of their own platforms, as well as finalizing the concept for the development of electric transport until 2035, the newspaper’s experts say.
