The Federation Council prematurely dismissed Alexei Kudrin from the post of head of the Accounts Chamber.
The day before, the Federation Council received a proposal from Vladimir Putin on the release of Alexei Kudrin from this post.
Kudrin confirmed his departure on his Telegram channel. He wrote that he has spent a total of about 25 years in the public sector and now wants to focus on big projects that are “developmental in a broad sense of private initiatives” and have “a significant impact on people.”
Earlier, the media, citing sources, reported that Kudrin would go to work for Yandex. As RIA Novosti notes , the Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko indirectly confirmed this: she expressed the hope that the statements of the Federation Council will now more often fall into the top of the search engine.
