Arkhangelsk blogger Nikita Onegin, who was captured this morning, told Sota that he learned about the second protocol under the article on “inciting hatred or enmity” in court from a representative of the prosecutor’s office. Before that, he refused to plead guilty to “distributing Nazi symbols.”
Also, according to Onegin, he was threatened with a criminal case under the article on extremism if he still writes any “hate-inciting” comments. Onegin himself claims that he has not been engaged in civic activism for a long time and devotes his time to work and education.
The young man, we recall, was found guilty today under two administrative articles: he was assigned 50 hours of compulsory work for “inciting hatred”, and he was fined 1,500 rubles for “demonstrating Nazi symbols”.
