In Komi, a deputy proposed to increase payments to veterans, but other parliamentarians drowned out his speech with applause.
Oleg Mikhailov, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, planned to speak in the Komi State Council about increasing payments to veterans, but they simply did not turn on the microphone. Despite this, the parliamentarian nevertheless delivered his speech – and then the assembled people’s deputies, trying to drown out his words, staged a loud ovation.
Mikhailov later called the incident a “provocation of United Russia.” In his opinion, it was “directed against all those who shed blood in Afghanistan, Chechnya and other local conflicts.”
Thanks for caring.
