Security forces in Kazan came with searches to the journalist and activist Naila Mullaeva. She told The Insider that it took place in her parents' apartment and may be linked to anti-war posts on her social media. Another search took place at the home of another Kazan activist, Elina Yasonova.
Mullaeva herself was not in the apartment during the search. What case he was involved in is still unknown.
“I work as a journalist, the search may or may not be related to this. I had a phone terrorism search before, but there's hardly a connection. The security forces “seized” 150 euros from the bag and a Russian passport,” she said.
Activist Elina Yasonova has no details of the search yet. According to Mullaeva, Yasonova and other activists were preparing an anti-war action over the weekend and submitted an application to the executive committee.
Earlier, they came to Mullaeva with a search before the action against the war, which took place on March 6. Then it was about the allegedly false report of mining (Article 207 of the Criminal Code). In September, the girl was detained at a rally against mobilization – she was doing an editorial assignment.
