A policeman from the Krasnodar Territory was supposed to fight evil, but he joined the evil – he is suspected of selling almost two kilograms of marijuana for a million rubles.
28-year-old Maxim Ivin, a junior lieutenant, detective of the Goryachiy Klyuch police, decided to make money in this way. On the night of December 1, he handed over a package with 1830 grams of marijuana to a local resident who had previously been convicted of drugs. In exchange for the package, Ivin received a million rubles.
But the enterprising policeman did not know that the deal was under the control of his own security service. Ivin was detained, on the same day a criminal case was opened against the junior lieutenant under the article on the sale of drugs on an especially large scale – now he faces 10 to 20 years in prison. As well as a symbolic fine of up to a million rubles.
