Vandals cut graffiti by street artist Banksy from the facade of a building in Gostomel, Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua writes . The image (a woman in a bathrobe with a fire extinguisher and a gas mask) was applied to the insulation, it was stolen by cutting the foam, the journalists suggest.
According to the publication, those who did this have already been caught. No other details were provided.
Earlier, Banksy confirmed that he is the author of seven graffiti in different places in Ukraine. First, the artist published an Instagram post with a drawing of a gymnast, which he made on the wall of a destroyed house in Borodyanka. After that, several more works became known: children who “swing” on an anti-tank hedgehog standing next to the image, a child defeating a man in a martial arts uniform.
The story with another graffiti – an armored truck with the inscription Z and a nuclear warhead in the shape of a penis – has been developed. Unknown people added a Cossack to the drawing.
