Legislative duet of Klishas and Krasheninnikov proposed allow a number of deputies not to submit tax returns.
We are talking about deputies who work in regional parliaments not on a professional basis, i.e. combining the work of a deputy with another, generating income). According to the bill, they will be able to submit an income declaration only once – within 4 months after being elected.
In the future, the declaration will be submitted only in case of transactions during the reporting year for the acquisition of real estate, a car or securities in an amount exceeding the total income of the deputy and his marriage partner for the last three years.
In fact, the bill is aimed at hiding the assets of deputies in order to avoid sanctions risks.
