Perhaps the Ministry of Justice is trying to figure out its own register. And perhaps, as journalists bitterly joke, today, instead of the Russian authorities, against those who are recognized as “foreign agents”, the scandal around the Dozhd TV channel.
Its presenter Aleksey Korostelev called the Russian army “our army” on the air and said that the work of the journalists of his publication helps those mobilized with supplies. The government of Latvia, where Dozhd is now registered, expressed its outrage at these words, as a result, the TV channel was fined 10 thousand euros. The Latvian Security Service launched an investigation against the TV channel.
