The Dozhd TV channel (a foreign agent) fired host Alexei Korostelev, who yesterday on air called on viewers to share stories about the problems of the RF Armed Forces and send messages to the channel’s tg-bot.
Quote from Korostelev: “We hope that many servicemen were able to do the same for many servicemen, including, we were able to help, for example, with equipment and with simply basic amenities at the front”.
Residents of Ukraine and Latvia, where the media is now based, did not understand such words and attacked with criticism like “Rain, everything is fine with you? Have you been helping the Russian army for a long time?” Today the story ended – Korostelev was fired, and the editor-in-chief Tikhon Dzyadko (also a foreign agent) wrote a canvas with apologies and excuses.
The Latvian government also did not stand aside and fined the channel for 10k euros, opened an administrative case and threatened that if they cut off again, the broadcast would be cut off.
